The Embassy of Japan in the Philippines has introduced a streamlined visa application process to enhance efficiency and reduce waiting times for Filipino travelers. This new system replaces the previous method of submitting applications through accredited travel agencies.β
π Japan Visa Application Centers (JVAC)
The Japan Visa Application Centers (JVAC), operated by VFS Global, are now the official venues for submitting all visa applications. These centers are located in the following cities: β
ParaΓ±aque City- Level 3, Parqal Mall, Building 5, Diokno Avenue corner Macapagal Boulevard, Paranaque City, Barangay Tambo, Postal Code- 1701, Metro Manila
Makati City- Ground Floor, Makati Circuit Corporate Center Tower Two, AP. Reyes St. Brgy Carmona, Theater Drive Circuit, Makati City, 1207 Philippines
Quezon City– Level 3 Gateway Tower Mall Araneta City Quezon City 0810
Cebu City- Unit 9, 7th floor Faustina Center, Bonifacio District, Cabahug St. Kasambagan, Cebu City, 6000, Philippines.
Davao Cityβ- FES -09, Second Floor, Alfresco Are, Felcris Centrale, Quimpo Boulevard, Barangay 40 β D, Davao 8000, Philippines.
The JVACs are open from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with application submission times as follows:
Passport release is available from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Please note that the centers are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Philippine holidays. β
Step by Step Process for the Visa Application
π Transition from Accredited Agencies
Accredited travel agencies are no longer authorized to accept new visa applications on behalf of the Embassy of Japan. Applicants who submitted their applications through these agencies before the cutoff date should collect their passports directly from the same agency.
