It is graduation season for our study in Japan students and we are ecstatic to receive their messages about the career paths waiting for them after receiving their certificates of completion.
So what really comes after the graduation of our Study in Japan students? Easy question and actually answered by the students during their application here in the Philippines. Yes, you read it right. During the application process, students create an essay wherein they state the reason they want to study in Japan and even the goal after. So with this article, we will talk about the top 3 goals of students why they study in Japan.
| First things first, of course the goal or dream of almost everyone is TO WORK IN JAPAN. Most of the students who applied for the study program is to find a stable/ full-time work in Japan, given that they have finished their college degree here in the Philippines. After their study program for a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 2 years, students will look for a full-time job in Japan to have their student visa replaced with a working visa. And just to emphasize- STUDENTS MUST FINISH THEIR STUDY PROGRAM, BEFORE APPLYING FOR A WORK IN JAPAN. And did you know that most of our students acquired a full-time job after graduation and they are now in the line of teaching, office work, and other jobs related to the course that they have finished here in the Philippines or sometimes based on the level of Japanese language that they reached in Japan. |  |
Second goal that some students are taking is TO PURSUE FURTHER STUDIES. Since the goal of the Study in Japan program is for the students to learn the Japanese language, students can thereafter enroll to a University in Japan to take up a Master’s degree. Language program is very much necessary if the students want to pursue further studies, as some or maybe most of the lessons are in Japanese. So yes, students must really invest and put in a lot of effort with their Japanese language level to be prepared.
Last but not the least, is TO GO BACK TO THE PHILIPPINES AND LOOK FOR OPPORTUNITIES HERE. After the language study in Japan and the students think and feel that Japan is not for them, students can go back here to the Philippines and look for opportunities here using the language level that they have accomplished in Japan. Up to date, actually there are a lot of job opportunities here for Japanese-speaking individuals with a competitive rate. So either the students stay in Japan or go back to the Philippines after graduation, a lot of opportunities await them.
